I haven’t done one of these round up posts in a little while and felt it was time to add one back into the mix.

The world is insane right now and I’ve had to lean heavily into my sanity bucket to find some stability. There is no right answer right now. There seems to be no let up on the many reasons why we are all feeling distressed. And god I miss blissful ignorance, what a numb joy it was, but this isn’t the time for that, we’ve entered our “I see it for what it is” era and while necessary, my nervous system is not built for it.

Stretching into July.
Stretching into summer.
Stretching into 40.
Stretching into my most listened to season of Stretch Marks.
Stretching into the discomfort of receiving (for the very first time) messages designed to hurt or harm my guest, and indirectly me.
Stretching into hope.

Some sanity restored with these bits I’ve loved

Me and my hair are not friends.
It has always been dry, thin, unruly…
It doesn’t care what you say or do, it’ll live by it’s own rules and god help us all if there’s humidity around.
